Adding a top layer of mulch to your garden is a great way to spruce up the area and to simplify gardening chores. Mulch is commonly used to keep weeds out while keeping moisture in the soil. Mulch is made from different materials. Pure bark mulch provides acid to the soil when it decomposes. Ground-up hardwood, dyed black, red or brown, is used for decorative purposes only.

Hint: One yard of mulch covers approximately 100 square feet of area when spread 2 to 3 inches deep. To determine how much mulch you need, measure the width and length of the area you wish to cover and determine the desired depth. We sell mulch in bulk.
